However, the Ravens would respond in the blink of an eye as Jermaine Lewis returned a kickoff of his own 84 yards to give the Ravens a 24-7 lead. In total a record 3 consecutive returns for touchdowns were made as fans got whiplash in the most exciting 36 seconds in Super Bowl history. The Ravens would go on to score 10 points in the 4th Quarter for an impressive 34-7 victory as Ray Lewis was named Super Bowl MVP.
