Detroit Pistons

Led by Chauncy Billups Rasheed Wallace Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton and have appeared in the last five Eastern Conference Finals. They are two and two going into this season's semi finale. They will meet the winner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and New Jersey Nets. In 2004, the Pistons defeated the Indiana Pacers in the East Final and went on to win the franchise's first NBA title since the Isiah Thomas- led team did it in 1989 and 1990.  In the East Final last season, the Pistons lost to eventual NBA Champions Miami Heat 4-2.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers make its first East Finals appearance since the 1991-1992 season when they lost to the Michael Jordan led Chicago Bulls in six games. The team led by Lebron James will attempt to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs return to the Western Conference Finals after a one-year absence. In the 2004-2005 West Finals, the Spurs, defeated the Phoenix Suns in five games and went on the capture the NBA title that year.  The team led by Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili defeated the Detroit Pistons in seven games.

Utah Jazz

Led by Carlos Boozer and Williams are making their first appearance in the Western Conference Final since 1998. In that West Final, the franchise led by Karl Malone and John Stockton defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in six games. They advanced to the NBA Finals and lost to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in six games.
